As a local painter and decorator I sometimes tire of the normal magnolia/white colour specification. This property offered a change with the use of some strong colours. I was very pleased with the finished job.
The four bedroomed property was decorated with a range of Dulux colours, including polished pebble, natural hessian and elderflower tea. The feature wall in the lounge was picked out in the very strong Sapphire Salute.
On the hall, stairs and landing certain walls where picked out with Luscious Lime. A very good contrast with the Polished Pebble.
All the timber on the staircase had been previously varnished. The client wanted a more contemporary finish. I first used my dust free sander to key the surface. Then applied two coats of zinssers bin primer. Then applied three coats of eco friendly acrylic white eggshell. A very similar process as used here
The wallpaper in the guest bedrooms is Sanderson Voyage Of Discovery. With a colour matched emulsion to compliment.
The feature wall in the master bedroom is Laura Ashley ninette berry.
All woodwork was finished with acrylic eggshell.
